Circuit I built with instrumentation amplifier, low pass filter and high pass filter.

Problem

 

For my circuits and signals class, we had to build an ECG system using our lab equipment, a breadboard, wires, op amps, resistances and capacitors. 

 

Action

 

I created an ECG system using an Instrumentation Amplifier, a low pass filter and a high pass filter, filtering out as much noise as possible and D/C components. To achieve this, I carefully processed the ECG signal in the analog domain to reduce noise and prepare it for analog to digital conversion.  After this, I processed the signal further in the digital domain utilizing MATLAB.

 

Result

 

I obtained the signal desired, and was able to see my heart pulse after performing signal processing.
